When a goal feels too big, Coach Ma’ranthony Hubbard starts by making it smaller.

In our conversation, he explained how he helps clients move past overthinking. He asks what’s holding them back, breaks large goals into manageable steps, and begins sessions by asking them to name three wins from the previous week. Even a win that seems small deserves to be recognized.

Ma’ranthony brings that practical approach to his work as a Christian life coach. His years in the Navy, including time as a Navy Counselor, shaped the way he listens and guides others. He describes his coaching style as honest. He also sets clear expectations with clients, because both people need to be committed to the work.

One phrase he shared has stayed with me: “Live intentionally every day.” That’s the heart of his approach. Notice your progress, face what needs to change, and keep moving.
